ARCTIC DESIGN SHOW 2014-Pohjoinen muotoilunäytös-
Maailman pohjoisin muotoiluviikko järjestetään
Rovaniemellä 17. – 23. helmikuuta 2014. Viikon huipentaa 22. helmikuuta Lapin
yliopiston Taiteiden tiedekunnan organisoima Arctic Design Show.
Näytöksen
teemana tarkastellaan arktisen designin lisäksi muotoilun roolia eri
sukupolville. Suomalaisten vaateyritysten huippudesignin lisäksi mukana nähdään
niin Lapin yliopiston Taiteiden tiedekunnan omaa, kuin kansainvälisten
yhteistyötahojenkin osaamista.
Ainutlaatuinen spektaakkeli tarjoaa
vaatetusmuotoilua, audiovisuaalisia taidonnäytteitä, sekä valojen ja varjojen
tanssia upeassa lumi- ja jääympäristössä.
Arctic Design Show’n tapahtumapaikkana on Arktikumin ja Pilkkeen
sisäpiha.
Näytöksiä on illan aikana kaksi, kello 18.00 sekä 20.00.
Ennakkolipunmyynti: 31.1-21.2. Arktikum ja Hih-hi! -kauppa (Kauppayhtiö,
Valtakatu 24). Näytöspäivänä 22.2. lipunmyynti ovelta kello 18.00 asti.

ARCTIC DESIGN SHOW 2014-Event for Northern Design-
The world’s most northern Design Week is held
in Rovaniemi on 17 – 23 February 2014. The week will be
topped off with the Arctic Design Show on February 22nd – a
spectacle brought to you by the Faculty of Art and Design of the University of
Lapland.
The show features Arctic design as the main theme and also the meaning
of design for different generations will be contemplated. We will see not only leading Finnish Arctic
clothing design, but also the skilled craftsmanship of the designers of the
University of Lapland and international partners, too.
This unique spectacle presents top clothing
design, audiovisual artwork and beautiful dance of light and shadows in
breathtaking ice and snow surroundings.
The Arctic Design Show takes place in the
courtyard of Arktikum and Pilke.
The showings start at 6pm and 8pm.
Tickets: 31st
of January to 22st of February from Arktikum and Hih-hi! -store (Kauppayhtiö,
Valtakatu 24).
22nd of February tickets are sold from the door closing at 6
p.m.
Price: 5€.
